How do I filter jobs by most recent?

filter jobs by date, sport, region, classification, and more. how often are jobs updated?

Our job board is designed to help coaches find relevant opportunities while also being supported by employers who fund its continued operation.

How jobs are sorted

  • All jobs are posted in reverse chronological order (newest first) by default.

  • Featured jobs receive preferential placement.

    • Featured jobs are lightly highlighted in yellow.

    • If a featured job matches your search criteria, it will appear ahead of non-featured jobs regardless of posting date.

    • After featured jobs, all remaining (non-featured) jobs appear in true reverse chronological order.

Because featured jobs are often active at the same time, coaches who run a search with no filters may see several pages of featured jobs before reaching non-featured listings. This can make it appear that the board is not sorting by date, even though it is.

Why featured jobs appear first

Featured jobs are paid placements purchased by employers. These placements help fund the continued development, maintenance, and support of the job board for the coaching community. In recognition of that support, featured jobs are given priority placement when they match your search.

Best ways to see the newest opportunities

If your goal is to track newly posted jobs or avoid confusion caused by featured listings, we recommend one of the following:

  • Use filters (sport, region, level, classification, etc.) to narrow results and reduce the number of featured jobs shown.

  • View the 50 most recent jobs, regardless of featured status, on this page:
    https://jobs.mycoachingtree.com/search-jobs/

  • Create a job alert to receive an email listing all jobs posted since your last alert (daily, weekly, or monthly). This is the most reliable way to ensure you never miss a new posting.

How often are jobs updated?

Jobs appear on the board as soon as they are posted. There is no delay in visibility.

Using filters, the recent-jobs page, or job alerts will give you the clearest view of what’s new and most relevant to you.
